The final goal of the project for the enhancement of patent no. 102015000057082, granted to the O.P. Amcop S.r.l. on 05/31/2018, entitled "Orthodontic-elastic-dento-craniofacial harmonizer device" is to arrive at the development of the prototype and pre-series production of the product object of the patent and the verification that the innovations conceived in the laboratory guarantee the benefits sought in terms of restoring the architecture of the bone structures of the craniofacial-mandibular system.
To achieve the goal, it was decided to follow a path as follows:
1) Technical feasibility study:
a. starting from the recognized claims of the patent, the consistency of the objectives with current market trends and dynamics will be verified;
b. a preliminary survey of the materials - current and potential -, of the production processes, as well as of the types of aligners that can be developed will therefore be made.
The aim is obviously to originally select the best techniques and processes that are best suited to the concrete enhancement of the patent, avoiding useless and wasteful waste of time..
2) Production design: once the materials and production processes have been chosen, we will move on to the executive design, also selecting the necessary equipment and designing the selected models
3) Engineering: at a pre-industrial level, the particular specifications of the selected models will be studied in order to favor their pre-series production
5) Pre-series production
Pre-series production, therefore, will allow you to immediately carry out a market test through the company's established sales channels, both direct (dental practices and laboratories) and indirect (official distributor).
At the same time, it will be possible to determine in greater detail the economic - financial aspects such as production costs, break even point, marketing price and consequent profit margins.
